Iv’e read a couple of chapters of the 17 Day Diet

Iv’e read a couple of chapters of the 17 Day Diet. I haven’t read Primal Bluprint (ordered it) but i get an idea that I should eat more fat, more protein and less carbs. For convenience’s sake, I’m having oatmeal at breakfast because I’m so used to it and it’s cold in the morning and I don’t feel like even moving and oatmeal is fast to prepare (just add milk). I’m just trying to get the most out of it, and not going too strict with carbs, minimizing money spent, and making it as easy as possible when making the food. You may be right about the diary, a couple of weeks ago I started drinking less milk (from 1 liter to 0,5L) and I may have lost a tiny bit of fat in the meantime. But TWO PIECES a day are not bad in any way. If we start going to this extremes then we are no different from Raw foodists who say don’t cook ANYTHING! No? I was kind of thinking the same when I first started reading about the 17 Day Diet stuff, then when i went deeper into it I realized that it is not as simple as This amount of carb is good and this of fat and this of protein. Food is more complex and is not the same as isolated compounds. Fruit, through fiber, for example, naturally allows the system to better deal with it instead of ingesting a fruit juice from which carbs have been taken off. Also, some people’s bodies react differently to carbs. Saturated fat is not super healthy and carbs are not “bad” as many people want you to believe. That shit is pretty unfounded blabering. Eat fruits, eat veggies and eat fat/carbs in a combination that “works” best for you. The problem with the 17 Day Diet, that you didn’t say anything about your current state nor about your goals, which makes everything in here worthless in regards to improved progress for you. I want to lower my body fat. I’ve never had visible abs (not without flexing a lot and even then…). I want to reach my “peak” in a slow and progressive way so that my body fat is the lowest by next Summer. I can wait, I’m in no hurry, in fact I love waiting and doing it steady. I work out, usually bodyweight, some times with weights and I walk my dog everyday. In the past, I’ve followed the 17 Day Diet Diet. Took some tests, I was healthy as a horse. Looks could have been better but I did lost a bit of fat, it was a bit unstable though… it would come and go because on the diet you have to fill up with carbs on the weekend, and then go back to the diet. My girlfriend tells me I’m being a bit too gospel with these books and ideas but I’m the living proof that, at least when testing me, I was pretty healthy. It was a bit expensive so I had to revert to normal diet. Learn more at http://healthymomsmagazine.net/2017/04/weight-loss-really-calories.html
